Wind River #9

This stunning property is tucked into one of the most convenient locations in Teton Village, but certainly doesn’t trade convenience for beautiful views. It’s easy to ski in and ski out of this location, and is surrounded by beautiful woodland outdoor space. During summer months, access to Grand Teton National Park is about a mile away, and very close to some of the park’s best hiking trails.

A well-designed space for large groups or families, this spacious townhome is filled with large windows and glass doors, inviting the impressive mountain views and natural light in. Relax in front of the massive fireplace, or enjoy the spacious dining and kitchen area as you recount the day’s adventures, or kick back on one of the two balconies to enjoy the fresh air and resort vistas.

  We loved Wind River - the location makes ski in - out incredibly easy and it's still a short 10 minute walk to the village. The shuttle made the post apres trek home very easy as well. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat! The property is a little bit tired, but it's clean and well kept and perfect for those looking for the perfect location for a great ski trip.

  Enjoyable, had a party of 6 which gave us plenty of room.
  Pro:
  Location: to ski back take trail to the left before the bridge. Ski out is about a 50 yard walk, listed as blues, easy blues.
  Great area to keep ski equipment with boot dryer
  BBQ grill
  TV is most rooms, the one in the den area never could gain reception from cable box.
  Each room has its own bath
  Well stocked with plenty of cooking equipment.
  Clean and everything worked. Property has some age but is well maintained.
  Saw fox outside the window on two mornings. 723 on both occasions.
  Fair priced.
  
  Cons:
  Hot tub is good walk and real busy
  Parking can be tight at times
  Shuttles only run every 30 minutes most of the day. This is true for all condos not just this one.

  We had a great time at this condo, the one minute walk to the lift was super easy, even for my six year old. The size was perfect for our two families (9 people total) and was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed with a nice fridge and the outside grill was huge and really nice. The only drawback at all is that the tv in the living room is quite small, but it worked fine and had Apple TV.

  Wind River #9 was beautifully positioned close to everything in Teton Village, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, horse back riding, paragliding, the gondola and more!   Would have been a fine experience, but management left a nasty review
  On Airbnb because there were beer caps and cigarette butts left. We would happily have cleaned the place but had little time with a mandated 10am checkout and we paid a cleaning fee. Management could have just called us, but to leave such negative feedback left us very disappointed in them. This is one of many frustrations we had, and we will not stay at one of their properties again.

  The place was pretty nice. Bedrooms nice and great to have 4 bathrooms with 4 bedrooms. The deck was amazing. They had the tiniest baby TV in the main family room. The parking Was a huge problem for our extended family. Only one spot per rental unit. So don’t plan on bringing more than a suburban full for this condo for ten. The property management did try to help us out with suggestions for parking. But we had to talk our way out of a ticket! It is stated ONE parking spot in the description but I missed that.

  We were so pleased with this condo. The location is near the moose creek chair lift, such an easy walk up to it and could ski down to the condo parking lot with the snow on the road. The condo was excellent for a large party of several families. The kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens i have ever seen in a rental. The living room was very nice for hanging out and the bedrooms very comfortable. I would like to commend Apex Real Estate for handling a noise situation with a neighbor in a professional and extremely expedient manner. We would definitely rent through Apex again just because of the way they manage their rentals...very friendly and professional. Great experience overall in a great condo in Jackson Hole.

  This 4 bedroom 4 bath unit was perfect for our 10 person, 3 generation 50th anniversary celebration. The accommodations and amenities were as described. The unit was super clean and comfortable. Even the pickiest member of our group loved it! Easy walk to the pool. Saw a mama moose and baby just down the street. Appreciated the abundant supply of firewood available for the Wind River units, as we built a fire every night. Best comment was from 12 year old grandson - “I’ll remember this and try to bring my kids here someday!” Management was very helpful in answering several questions. Check in and check out were easy.

  A group of friends from NY recently stayed at Wind River #9 the week of Jan. 6 2018.
  The house was perfect for us. The house was very clean and neat. Every bedroom had a private bathroom with plenty of towels.
  Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes.
  It was a short walk to the Moose chair left and with snow on the ground you could ski to the front door.
  A free shuttle to the main base was available in front of the building.
  Hot Tub and outdoor heated pool also a short walk from the house.
  We had a 15 inch snowfall overnight the parking and sidewalks were all plowed and cleaned by morning.
  Christine from the property management co. Apex was outstanding from the first day with any questions about the house , lift tickets etc.
  If your looking for a reasonably priced house with large rooms, ski in/out, locker for you skies , I recommend WR #9.

  This home fit our needs perfectly. After long days on the slopes, we all came back to a dinner prepared from the fully stocked kitchen, puzzles, games and comfortable beds for all. The distance to the lift that took us to base camp was easy walking. The village was close for quick groceries or a nice nightcap. The photos on this site understates this condo. It was comfortable and up to date. Totally recommend and we hope to come back! But, we will bring heaters for the bathrooms...burr.

  In general the unit met expectations. In general its a little older and darker than it looks in the pictures. If you rent in the summer, the bedrooms upstairs have unreachable skylights that will make the rooms bright with light before 6:00 AM. For the price I would appreciate being met by a real human being. That being said the phone help was immediate, friendly, and well done.

  We enjoyed this property, with one major exception: the two Master bedrooms have large East facing windows high up beyond reach and there are no curtains or blinds on them. So, around 5am the sun comes streaming in and it's like mid day at the beach and impossible to sleep. I wouldn't stay here again until that is fixed. Also. The gas grill hadn't been cleaned in a while and was a bit of a fire hazard. We did not try the pool area. Location was fine for access to the village, but e did not try the shuttles. Otherwise, the unit was quite nice and well equipped and furnished.

  This condo was in a great location for skiers. In the morning we walked about a block to the surface lifts which took us right to the base of Teton Village. Then in the afternoons we could ski all the way to our condo parking lot! There is also a free shuttle that runs all around Teton Village and had a stop right at our parking lot. It runs every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on time of day.
  
  The condo itself was a bit more dated than it looks in the online photos, but it was clean and well-equipped. The bathrooms are very small (even the master) but there are 4 of them, so that helps. I cannot say enough about the Apex property managers. They communicated with me often, both before and during the trip. And their app has so much useful information! Be sure to download that when you go. Also, we had some minor plumbing issues while we were there and they were very responsive to send out repairmen to fix things quickly.

  This ski-in condo was perfect for our group of seven guys. It was comfortable and roomy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were nice. Best of all it was 100 years from a lift and you could ski home all the way to the parking lot. Our only suggestion for improvement would be a bigger, better TV. We'd love to come back some time.

  We have rented homes at least twice a year since 2004. Not generally a fan of property management companies as I have had issues with them in the past. However APEX was extremely different and I would rent form them again!!!
